How to create a piano tutorial with falling notes
Create the classic falling-notes effect for piano tutorials — straight from a MIDI file (no camera) or with your hands on screen via webcam.

Set Incoming notes in Stage
For falling notes from a MIDI file, open Stage, select the instrument and set Note Behaviour > Direction to Incoming (Falling Notes).

Adjust the note flow
In the same Note Behaviour section, set Travel Time for enough visual anticipation, then refine Note Scale and Path Angle for the chosen camera framing.

Switch to Top View for the classic look
Set the camera to Top View for the top-down falling-notes look: click Top View on the Camera Gizmo (top right), or press Numpad 7.

To film your real hands, set up Magic Piano with a webcam (see the Magic Piano tutorial) and enable Video Delayed in the Streaming panel to keep everything in sync.
