Record your performance as MIDI

Capture the notes and expressive MIDI data from a live performance for later editing or playback.

Choose your input

Select the MIDI controller you want to record and verify its response.

Open recording controls

Open the Recording section in Creator and select MIDI as the capture type. You can start or stop from its record button without leaving the panel.

Start and perform

Click the record button in Creator, or press F9, then play your performance. Press F9 again or click the same button to stop when finished.

Find and review the file

Open Documents/Lumiric Stage/Captures and load the MIDI file to review the take.
