Set the musical context for Reading, Practice, labels, colors and harmony tools before you start playing or teaching.

Open Music Learning
Open Music Learning from the main interface. Its Reading, Practice, Theory, Labels and Chords tabs organize the learning tools by task.

Choose key and scale
In Theory, select the tonic and scale that match the piece. This is the reference used by degree colors, scale-aware labels and harmonic feedback.

Choose notation
Choose International, Solfège or Nashville notation, then check that the piano, Floating Labels and chord-related displays use the convention you want.

Check the guides
Play single notes and a chord. Confirm that the selected scale, degrees, labels and chord information agree with what you are performing before recording or starting a lesson.
